TerraCycle runs a free recycling program for them, sponsored by the pet food brand “I and love and you.” Collect your empties in any box, print a free shipping label, and TerraCycle cleans and sorts them into raw materials for new products. Every pound you send also earns 100 TerraCycle points, which you can donate to a school, charity, or nonprofit you choose.
How to recycle your bags
Join the program
Create a free TerraCycle account and sign up. If the program is full, you'll be added to the waitlist.
Fill a box
Collect empty bags in any box, up to 50 lbs and 18×18×18 in. No washing needed, just shake out leftover food.
Ship it free
Request a FedEx QR code or download a UPS label, seal the box, and drop it off.
